We harvested potatoes, squash, a few tomatoes, and a miscellany (kale, kohlrabi, peppers) that grew among the summer's weeds. Some of us also built a new three-bin compost system to replace our old (highly technical) "pile of junk" system. Here we are in the garden:
Farm House is an interest living house at Carleton College in Northfield, MN. It is home to 17 students who participate in communal living; dinners, common space, music, and knowledge are shared. All Carleton students and members of the Northfield community are invited to participate in gardening, open vegetarian dinners Monday through Thursday and other activities.

More Pictures From Harvest Fest
Harvest Fest was last weekend, which already seems like forever ago. But here are some pictures of what we did that day. I made four apple pies, which were a lot of work but tasted amazing (and disappeared fast!).
